Concept for Project 4: Critical Mass

The concept I started with when I went out shooting was "textures". But some objects got in the mix, and I kept getting distracted by markings (graffiti, utility marker paint, love scratching in hand rails, etc), and I have always had a thing for photographing grids and patterns-- symmetry poses unique challenges in and of itself. In paring down the images from 168 down to 100, I tried to narrow down most of the utility marker paint and graffiti, as this didn't relate to my concept as much (maybe another project). I also wanted to spend a little extra effort on the binding process, the glue is drying now, I hope it pays off!
